During a listening session for his upcoming album, Extended Play (June 18th), Statik Selektah sat down with Xzone about his recent singles (“21 & Over” w/ Sean Price & Mac Miller, “Bird’s Eye View” w/ Joey Bada$$, Raekwon and Black Thought), possibly working with Jay-Z, his desire to work with Kanye West and Eminem, reveals he did a track with Nas for Life Is Good that didn’t make the cut and his future plans.

Drugs have certainly played a role in Joe Budden's life and career. The emcee has acknowledged that he has had to battle with addiction for years, most recently relapsing in the summer of 2012. In a recent interview, Budden opened up about being high at concerts and having people around him, like Eminem, to help guide him to recovery.

His line of headphones may not be in stores yet but Chief Keef is already giving fans a preview of what they can expect.

Jay-Z's protégé J. Cole has bumped up the release of his sophomore album, Born Sinner, to June 18 -- one week earlier than previously announced, a source close to the rapper tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Common follows his remix of Jay-Z’s “Open Letter” with a DJ Dummy and 9th Wonder reworking of Chris Brown’s latest single that pays homage to the King of Pop Michael Jackson.

With the recent announcement of the release date for the sequel to The 20/20 Experience, Justin Timberlake reveals dates to his upcoming world tour. Starting in London at the Wirless Festival on July 12 and ending February 10th of 2014 in Omaha, NE. Despite making a last-minute payment of over $900,000, Lauryn Hill was sentenced to three months in prison for failing to pay $1.8 million in back taxes from 2005-2007. According to WP, she’s to report to prison (no word on which one just yet) on July 8th and will have an additional three months of home confinement tacked on after she gets out.
