Yesterday we previewed the Nike Air Flight ’89 “True Blue”, which is supposedly inspired by the classic Air Jordan 3 Retro “True Blue”.

Nike Sportswear re-creates the classic look, as this version of the Nike air Flight ’89 sports a predominantly white leather upper, which is contrasted with royal blue, wolf grey, and touches of red.

The “True Blue” inspired Nike Flight ’89 is now available for purchase via select NSW retailers nationwide.

Loved by some yet hated by others, Nike’s latest hybrid Huarache Free Basketball sees its latest iteration via a modest black/white colorway. The pair is positioned atop a pure white Free Sole foundation, setting a contrasting tone to the tonal black neoprene upper. Both breathable mesh and supple nubuck paneling maintain a strong presence within the toe box and side paneling of the model. A customary Huarache branding hit is seen on the integrated tongue, opposite a frosted rear support strap emblazoned with trademark Nike typography.

Today is a good day to be an Air Jordan fanatic. We just finished telling you the release date of the Air Jordan 6 Retro “Olympic”, and now we’re learning about the release of the Air Jordan Retro 4 “Military Blue”.

The shoe features a supple white leather construction, which is contrasted with military blue and grey tone. Look for them to officially drop at Jordan Brand accounts on June 9, 2012, and retail for $160. Will you be getting your hands on these?

Being that I’m a proud Outkast stan (and seem to be expressing it more and more as the years go by), when Complex put up their new feature on Organized Noize I immediately dropped what I was doing (really, I just pushed today’s Insanity workout back) and got to reading. The trio of Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown break down some of their classic records. From TLC’s Waterfalls to En Vogue’s Don’t Let Go, Sleepy Brown’s I Can’t Wait (one of my favorite songs of all time) to countlesss Goodie Mob/Outkast records, and so forth. So head on over to Complex and check it out.

Oh, and when asked about Two Dope Boyz (In A Cadillac)? The dopehouse gets a mention. Sadly, there wasn’t a special story to go along with the record though.

The NBA All-Star weekend is just a few weeks away, and adidas has let slip an official look at the jerseys your favorite players will be wearing. Staying true to the traditional colors, the East will be rocking blue and the West will be rocking red. The uniforms were  inspired by the 20th anniversary of the memorable 1992 NBA All-Star game which was also held in Orlando and saw Magic Johnson winning the MVP award. What are your thoughts on the NBA All-Star uniform designs? How do they work with the All-Star related shoes?
